    Rainer Maria Rilke

The advice of an European poet from the early 1900s resounds in the minds of many looking to discover the work they love. From an experienced poet to an aspiring poet, from one century to the next...

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer. Rainer Maria Rilke, July 1903

There are many who would simplify and summarize this to the often expressed:

    Enjoy the Journey.

There are many types of Search and Rescue organizations and governmental departments. A completely volunteer (read- not paid for by tax payer dollars, but by the volunteers themselves) is the MARK9 Posse. They are the Maricopa K9 Search & Rescue Posse which serves the Maricopa County community in Arizona. This organization specializes in finding lost people. They deploy within minutes of that call for help channeled through the county sheriff's office. On occasion they have even been called in to help other regions beyond their home territory. Combining their love for training dogs and helping the community this team works and gives above and beyond the call of duty.

    Visit the MARK9 website www.maricopak9.com
