Aesthetitican (or Esthetician)
An aesthetician or esthetician, regardless of how you spell it, is about providing skin care services and helping people to look the way they want to look and feel the way they want to feel. Once licensed by their state an aesthetician can work in a very diverse range of settings and provide a wide selection of services. Most might initially think of a facial at a luxury resort. But aestheticians also help clients in doctors' offices, beauty salons, and even patient bedsides in hospitals and extended care situations. In addition to facials, their work includes an assortment of procedures like microdermabrasion, waxing, and laser treatments.
Aestheticians are skin care specialists who studied at cosmetology school where they learn to maintain and improve a healthy epidermis (outer layer of the skin).
