Radio broadcasting to a wide or "broad" audience started roughly 100 years ago. Over those years the industry has grown and developed into a extensive array of forms and programming formats. It takes many people with a multitude of vocations to successfully transmit and operate a radio station.There are many ways to be involved in the broadcast radio industry, including but not limited to the owner, general manager, production staff, marketing staff, and content talent.
